“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”

When I played football, I was always grateful if I had the ball and a man was down the field in front of me, throwing blocks and moving those obstacles. Do you know God does some downfield blocking for you? You may not even know He’s been doing it. It’s not merely enough to know the will of God, not enough to only have direction. We’ve got to have power, where God makes our paths straight for us through the wilderness. God’s done that for me so many times. God has given me a job, and a message, and then He just picks me up and carries me. He’ll do that for you too. Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” Look in verse 6, “In all your ways acknowledge Him.” Look in verse 9, “all your increase.” When your worship, your walk, and your wealth are given over to Him, you’ll know the will of God. Put those “alls” in there! Don’t play games with God! Are you serious about knowing and doing the will of God? You say, “Oh I wish I knew the will of God.” Just do it in the small things. Do it in the things nearest to you. “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.”
Surrender to God your all. Journal about this surrender so you can recall this moment you entrusted your life to Him.
I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.
Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
