What we need to understand is that it is not business, it is not education, it is not recreation, it is not government, it is not the Church, but the home that is the basic unit of everything and, therefore, all of the artillery of Hell is leveled against the home.
As they get older, kids are being asked the question: What are you going to be? What are you going to do? Many of them feel that they have to achieve something more than living as a godly spouse or a parent to be successful and not be considered a failure or waste. But that is not a waste. That is the highest, deepest, sweetest, fullest, most meaningful thing—to have a godly Christian home.
List some ways Christians are successful before God that may not be considered successful to the world.

Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
