“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

Voltaire was a brilliant man who lived several hundred years ago. He was a French atheist who went after the Word of God. Voltaire estimated that in his lifetime, the world would hear no more of the Bible. This was quite a boast.
Well, Voltaire’s been dead for more than 300 years. But in the very house where Voltaire made that statement, the Geneva Bible Society did a wonderful business distributing Bibles—they were stacked from floor to ceiling in Voltaire’s house. There are many people who’ve pronounced the death of the Bible, but the corpse has outlived the pallbearers. The Bible is not the book of the month. It is the Book of the ages.
Take some time to search online for ways the Bible has endured throughout the ages despite any opposition it has faced.
Discover the character of God through His many names revealed in Scripture. This month-long devotional invites you to read, reflect, and respond to the meaning of God's names, renewing your mind and transforming your heart in faith.
