Gospel Opportunities In Evil Days

Is there anybody who would deny that these are evil days?
We are up against the organized, mobilized, demonized forces of hell and it comes in every way. Sometimes it is a frontal attack. Sometimes it is very subtle. If you don’t know there is a war raging today, you are deaf, dumb and blind to spiritual things.
But, even though there is a war waging, there has never been a greater opportunity to preach the gospel of Jesus than right now. There is more hunger for the gospel than ever before.
You say, Pastor Rogers I thought you said things were getting bad. They are. Well, is the world getting better or worse? Yes. As the night grows darker, the saints glow brighter, the hungers more intense, and the people who are looking, waiting, and wondering are finding the answer in Christ.

I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.
Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
