Intercession Of The Spirit

Ponder This

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26).

Do you know what prayer is? Prayer is like a vehicle that delivers our thoughts to God. But sometimes, our burdens seem too heavy to send. Have you ever felt like you had a four ton problem and a two ton truck and didn’t know how to pray for that problem?

Throughout our lives, there are going to be problems that we will not know how to solve. And we won’t even know how to ask God to solve them. It is during these times, that the Spirit will pray for us with sighs too deep for words.

FOR YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY

Front Porch Moments by Gayle Foster

WITH KEY INSIGHTS FROM HER FATHER, ADRIAN ROGERS

I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.

Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
