Acts 5:42 says, “And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”
Has God given you a command to share Jesus Christ? Yes, He has. What is the alternative to obeying Him? It is disobedience. What is the result of disobedience? No spiritual power and no joy in your life.
God has given you a command to share with others about the message of salvation made possible by His Son. Now if you do it, will God give you the Holy Spirit and bless what you are doing? Yes! When you obey Him, the Spirit is received, joy is achieved, and the Gospel is believed.
There are enough people in the church right now to turn the world inside out, upside down, and right side up for Jesus Christ. Is that not true?

I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.
Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
