The Days Of Noah, Part 1

The Lord Jesus told us in Matthew 24:37, “But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

As it was in the days of Noah, so it is going to be just before Jesus returns. And I want to say to you that the days of Noah have returned to us right now.

What are some characteristics of these days? First, they were days of apostasy. People were believing ungodly philosophies. Second, they were days of anarchy. Violence filled the earth. Third, they were days of wicked ideas. There were philosophers and politicians who were trying to remake society.

The aromas of the sins that produced the flood in Noah’s day have risen up to heaven today. And I believe the stench is stinging the nostrils of God. Soon, He is returning to judge the world one more time. It was water the first time. It will be fire the next time.

Front Porch Moments by Gayle Foster

WITH KEY INSIGHTS FROM HER FATHER, ADRIAN ROGERS

I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.

Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
