The Master Of The Devil

"

The devil may be powerful, but God is all-powerful. The kingdom does not belong to Satan ultimately. It belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. Friend, it is not mastery over the devil that you need. It is the Master of the devil, the Lord Jesus Christ.

There are three cords that run through the Bible. One is the dark, sober cord of Satan’s revolt. The other is the crimson red cord of blood redemption through Jesus Christ. The third is the golden cord of the second coming of Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ went to the cross, He said, “Now is the prince of this world cast out” (John 12:31).

One great day, this prophecy of Revelation is going to come true: “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’” (Revelation 12:9-12).

Hallelujah! Praise the Lamb! Glory to God Almighty for His work of redemption through His Son Jesus!

FOR YOUR GIFT TO THE MINISTRY

Front Porch Moments by Gayle Foster

WITH KEY INSIGHTS FROM HER FATHER, ADRIAN ROGERS

I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.

Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
