Where did everything come from?
“For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist” (Colossians 1:16-17).
To be an atheist is not a sign of intelligence. If you think that nothing x nobody = everything, I think you have unfurnished rooms to rent upstairs. Think about it.
You couldn't have a human eye by random chance. No, Jesus is the power of creation.
People want to know what the world is coming to. It is coming to Jesus. It is all created for Him. Did you think He made it for you? “By Him, through Him and to Him” are all things.
"I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.
Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
