Walking In The Light Of Jesus

"

Did you know that all light is made up of color? Objects don’t have any color of themselves. The color is in the light. If you remove the light from the most gorgeous bouquet in the world, it has no color.

I feel sorry for people who have never seen the light. They don’t know the beauties that I know. I see things they aren’t going to see and they are wonderful. Now, you may be a Christian and not see them, too. That’s because you are walking in carnality.

First John 1:7 says, “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Oh, the glory of that Light. Oh, the multi-faceted splendors! Indeed, Jesus is the One that makes all things beautiful. The Light of the World is Jesus.

Front Porch Moments by Gayle Foster

WITH KEY INSIGHTS FROM HER FATHER, ADRIAN ROGERS

I try to unplug each morning with Jesus with just my rocking chair, my Bible, and a pen.

Having a secret place is very important because I know that Jesus is always there waiting for me. I know where I can find Him! His presence is everywhere, but there are places where it is so thick you can cut it with a knife. You may not even have a front porch, but there is a secret place for you as well. God’s invitations are for anyone who will respond. There is no more important request than the one found in Psalm 27:8: “My heart has heard You say, ‘Come and talk with Me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’”
