In Jerusalem that day, there were three crosses, and on those crosses the gruesome sight of three men dying in agony. One was the very Son of God. One was a man who turned to Jesus in repentance and faith and was saved. One was a man who cursed, mocked, ridiculed, and refused Jesus, and then died and went to hell. There was a cross of redemption, a cross of reception, and a cross of rejection. God planned it that way, and it was no accident that there were three crosses.
