Let's Talk: Christmas Traditions

Make Christmas Sweet

There are many Scriptures that point out the sweetness and joy found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. As you make and eat Christmas cookies this year as a family, consider sharing some of these verses with those you love, or add a Scripture or two to a gift of cookies for your neighbors:

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing” (Psalm 34:8-10).

“…for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things” (Psalm 107:9).

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).

“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty’” (John 6:35).
