In the overarching story of Mankind, the human story, the conflict started with the fall of Man and continues with every man’s temptation and failure (sin), the villain is Satan, who enslaves us to sin, and the hero is Jesus, the only one righteous enough and simultaneously humble and powerful enough to save men and women from certain destruction.
