“I am a truck driver. I was having just an ordinary day, and when I started the truck, Pastor Rogers was on the radio. I didn’t think anything of it and changed the channel. The next day it happened again. By about the third time or so, I was having a bad day and thought to myself, ‘Hmm, maybe this is telling me something’. My life was changed. Fast forward to today, and every morning when I start my day, I always do my best to listen to the podcast. Sometimes life happens and I miss it, but I always make time to go back and listen to what I missed. Never give up on what it is that you do. He said one time that he was too dumb to preach anything but the Bible and too smart to preach anything but the Bible. And that has made sense with me, and that's my philosophy in preaching.
