The Battle You Cannot Afford to Win

Genesis 32:1-32

When God saves us, He’s not finished! There’s still work to be done, as with Jacob, whose name means “crook.” The Lord started this battle—a wrestling match with Jacob. He had to isolate Jacob so He could confront, then transform him. Jacob lost, but he also won.
