One of the fruits of brokenness is our pliability in the hands of God. Are we experiencing less resistance to our own will and yielding more to His will?
Secondly, the fruit of brokenness is empathy and sympathy with others who are hurting, to be able to see their lives through the brokenness that God has brought into your own life.
A third fruit is wisdom. Not only does God break, but God mends. A person who has known the healing hand of God can see the ways, and the heart, and the hand of God in ways that other people cannot. Men throw broken things away. But God never really uses anything until He first breaks it.
