The keys to going deeper in your faith aren't complicated.
The first key is regularly reading the Bible. The Bible is God’s Word, and in it, we learn about God. We learn what God’s desires are and how to walk in ways that please Him. If you want to grow as a Christian, spend time regularly reading the Bible and seeking to do what it says.
The second key is consistent prayer to God. Your prayers don’t need to be long or fancy. God is your Father and prayer allows you to commune with Him. Tell Him what’s on your heart and lay your needs and desires before Him.
The third key is service. In Mark 10:43-45, Jesus said, "...whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." Seek out opportunities to serve others with your gifts, talents, and time.
The fourth key is fellowship with other Christians. God never intended you to live the Christian life on
your own. You need other Christians to help you, to encourage you, and to walk alongside you. If you want
to grow as a Christian, you need to regularly be with other Christians who will encourage you in your faith.
This is why being part of a church is so important.
