The Christmas story can be found in several places in the Bible. The most familiar and most read account is found in Luke 2:1-20. Matthew also tells the story of Jesus’ birth in Matthew 1:18-2:12. In Matthew’s account, we see how the wise men came to see Jesus and brought Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Also, you can find the prophecies concerning Jesus’ birth in the Old Testament. Some of those are found in Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7, and Micah 5:2.
