Who will be judged at the final judgement? First, Jesus will be there. “For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgement to the Son” (John 5:22). He is the One Who will recall to us our works, our words, and our choice to accept Him or reject Him. We read in Revelation 20:13, “... And they were judged, each one according to his works.” Matthew 12:36 says, “But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give an account of it in the day of judgement.” Matthew 10:32-33 also says, “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Jesus has all authority, and He will be the One doing the judging.
All of mankind, whether living or dead at the time of Christ’s return will be judged at the final judgement. Read Revelation 20:13-15. “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on the earth, and of those under the earth” (Philippians 2:10).
Jesus is coming. Judgement is coming. Are you spiritually ready for both? No sin is so great that you cannot be saved, and no sin is so small you don’t need to be saved. If you haven’t already, then make the choice. Call out to Jesus and receive salvation today!
