Faith is the heart’s response to God’s character. Faith does not ignore the intellect, but neither does it arrive through knowledge alone. Faith is a response to an attraction of the heart - the core of man - to the character of God. Those who do not arrive at saving faith ultimately reject God’s character - His sacrificial love, His grace, His holiness, His sovereignty, and His supremacy - in favor of their own self-sufficiency. Read these verses and write them down. As you write, ask God to attract your heart to Him.
We encourage you to focus on each daily Scripture, ponder the verses, and write them down. Adrian Rogers says, "The weakest ink is better than the best memory. Study with pen in hand."
