Scripture Passage: Revelation 1:19
Though the Book of Revelation may seem hard to understand, God wants to make His message plain. The golden key to the Book of Revelation is found in the first chapter.
Revelation 1:19 says, “Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.”
Considering the things of the past, present, and future, John records seven prophecies to take place in the End Times.
Revelation 4:1 indicates that at any moment, God will call His Church home to join Him at the judgment seat of Christ.
Because the Church restrains evil on Earth, corruption will take over after the Church is called home. Revelation 13:1-3 prophecies how the antichrist will rise to power and accomplish the enemy’s work of deception.
Revelation 6:12-17 describes the dire state of the world after the antichrist holds sway and deceives the nations. God’s wrath will be so terrible that men will desire death, but death will flee from them.
Revelation 16:13-16 claims the battle of Armageddon will mark the end of the seven-year tribulation. Jesus Himself will demonstrate His mighty power over the beast and his army.
Revelation 20:1-6 prophecies a thousand-year period of time, in which Jesus rules and reigns – no war, no disease, only peace on Earth.
Revelation 20:11 claims the millennium will end with final judgment, in which every unsaved man or woman will stand before the great throne of God; the unsaved dead will be cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:6-8 declares that the work of God will be finished; only those who are saved will see the new Heaven and new Earth.
Adrian Rogers says, “You have a life to live, a death to die, a judgment to face, and an eternity to endure: either in Heaven or in Hell.” Come to Jesus today, while there is still time in these Last Days.
