“Blessed are the peacemakers” is a term that comes from Jesus’ sermon on the mount found in Matthew 5:9. The Bible tells us to seek, make, and live in peace. Being a peacemaker mimics the life of Jesus because it was through Him that we can have peace with God the Father. (See Romans 5:1.)
