Why did God choose Noah?

Noah wasn't perfect, but he walked with integrity, was obedient, revered God, and shared his faith with others.

Why can marriage exist only between a man and a woman?

God created man and woman and God created marriage. Marriage can only exist between one man and one woman because God intended it to be so.

Who wrote the Book of Romans?

The Book of Romans was written by the Apostle Paul, a Jew and a Roman citizen. This is made clear in vs.1 and vs. 7 of chapter one as he writes, “Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ...To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints.” Paul, formerly known as Saul, was an opponent and persecutor of Christians until he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. Paul mentions his conversion to...

Who will be judged at the final judgement?

All of mankind will be judged at the final judgement. Are you ready?

Who is the only Savior of the world?

Jesus is the only Savior of the world. Only Jesus came to save all mankind from sin. On the authority of God’s Word and the testimony of eyewitnesses, as well as Jesus Himself, the only Savior of the world is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit do?

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. We see the oneness of the Trinity throughout Scripture.

Who is Satan in the Bible?

In the Bible, Satan is referred to by several names and nicknames that describe him and his intentions. He was created by God as an angel of light, “Lucifer,” which means “light-bearer.” He was a being whose wings covered God’s glory.

Who is Jesus?

The Bible tells us that Jesus is the "only Son of God," (John 3:18) and that He was both fully human and fully divine. Jesus is the creator of all things. He Himself could not be created because all things were created by Him.

Who is God? Does He really exist?

From the very first words of the Bible, it is clear that God exists. God is not argued, explained, or defended. He is simply presented. There is neither an explanation for the existence of God nor an attempt to prove His existence. The Bible is full and complete. It has all we need for faith. And ultimately God must be accepted by faith.

Where should a beginner start when it comes to studying the Bible?

When it comes to reading the Bible, it’s better to start small and be consistent than to try to read too much and burn out. Find an amount that you can read consistently and try to stick with it as much as possible. The more consistent you are with reading the Bible, the more you’ll grow in godliness.

Where is the Christmas story in the Bible?

The Christmas story can be found in Luke 2:1-20 and Matthew 1:18-2:12.

What’s the difference between being religious and having a relationship?

There is an enormous difference between religion and relationship. Religion says work, work, work, and maybe you will be rewarded. Relationship is so much more valuable. It is personal, positional, and provisional.

What’s my purpose? How do I find my purpose in life?

Our purpose is to do what God created us to do. Living your purpose is the only real success that matters.

What year was Jesus Christ born?

The year Jesus was born is around 5 or 6 B.C. Nowhere in Scripture, nor in secular writings, is there given an exact date. However, based upon the timeline of the census when Quirinius was governor of Syria (Luke 2:2), which we know was 8 B.C., and Herod’s death (Matthew 2:19), which we know was around 4 B.C., we can reasonably determine that Jesus was born approximately 5-6 B.C.

What was the reason for the Cross?

Life is short. Death is sure. Sin the curse, Christ the cure. And how does He cure? Through the Cross of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What verses in the Old Testament prophesy about Jesus Christ?

There are more than 300 Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament; all of which Jesus fulfilled perfectly.

What should we focus on during Christmas?

Jesus is God’s great love gift, because Jesus came to give His life that we might have life and “have it to the full” (John 10:10). Without a doubt, love came down at Christmas.

What resources are available to help people who make a decision to follow Jesus?

There are three things to focus on when moving deeper into a new relationship with Jesus: assurance of your salvation, a plan for reading the Bible, and trusted accountability.

What qualities do you desire to include in an effective sermon?

To be effective, the pastor must preach to the needs of his people. The preacher should take four steps to assure spiritual application in the sermon.

What miracles did Jesus perform? Why didn't He do them for everyone?

Jesus healed those who had been sick for many years. He drove out demons. He gave sight to the blind and caused those who were paralyzed to walk again. He turned water into wine and walked on water. He even raised the dead. Turn to any page in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John, and you'll probably find Jesus performing a miracle.
